I am Twenty Two years old.
How this birthday is different from the rest;
It is the first birthday after National Service and being 21, there are so many accomplishments this year! Losing a good friend, getting a driving licence, got my wisdom tooth extracted, ORD-ed and step out of the closet. I can feel the adrenaline, it was quite an experience, I can really feel that I am growing up, from all this falls and milestones. Lastly, I think the best birthday gift is getting a job.
As we age, we have more commitments and responsibility w school and career, which will result in seeing your loved ones less. Well, let us all be positive and feel blessed that your loved ones are always here for you, maybe not physically but over a simple text or phone call once in a while. I am so glad that I managed to spent my birthday w my girlfriends! Who has always been here, though there are special arrangements made in today's meet up but at the end of the day, I GET TO SEE ALL OF THEM!
