11:25 PM

first day of work.
started the day with staff briefing, and members introduction, followed by target set for the day and off to prepare for opening. felt a little pressurize because its definitely stress and tough to work in a retail floor that stretched 9000sq feet, which is also the biggest adidas outlet in south east asia. really not easy, we communicate via walkie talkie on the floor, and of course, a bigger shop floor is equivalent to more sales target and more crowds! oh did you know that a weekday sales target will be an average of a 5 digit SGD amount. not gonna reveal the exact amount, due to company's secret. alright to sum up, my first day was pretty sucky i guess, maybe its because im still not used to serving tourists? this is the first time i've been really exposed to foreigners. i hope after the 2 months, i will get my confidence back!

well, there goes my first day of work, one word to describe. scary!

i don't know why, but i must get use to it. anyway thanks for all those who wished me good luck for today!

finished work at 530pm, debrief[new schedule out, im not working on my birthday!], changed and trained home with desmond today! came back to amk to collect my staff pass[eng wah] and then off to meet delwyn, xian neng, marc, qi yong, yong sheng, mich and grace for steamboat! yeah, life still goes on with great people and fantastic food! woohoo~

$13.90 per pax.
super worth it.

okay, off to catch some sleep, luckily im working afternoon shift tomorrow!

26 august 09.

happy birthday sylvia cousin. thanks for your invitation to your birthday steamboat dinner, i like the food, especially two of your super nice cake! most importantly, do enjoy your birthday and study hard for your O's!

super duper delicious strawberry cheesecake!

the rest of the pictures we took were blurred, lets see if i can get some photos from my cousins soon. carry on blogging! after dinner, uncle lai sent me home, thanks! reached home, bathed and went to meet weisheng, jiaying, sihui and peiyu. UNO-ed and killed time together. reached home at 230am, bathe and sleep.

27 august 09.

woke up at 2pm this afternoon. was online til its time to go for swimming. guess what? swimming just sucks, my coach timed us for 100 metres swim. realize that my timing slows down a lot, shocked to hear my timings, maybe is it because im not in the mood to swim? maybe because my friends were getting faster? i don't know what's going on, i shall take this as wake up call for me. gonna train harder, swim harder next week. i know i can do it. i will not be defeated that easily and lose my passion for swimming. every time i fall, makes me stronger!

after dinner, met the girls for UNO again, but only for a short while today. the time now is 12.47am. my last day to slack before i start work! i can't really wait as i'd been rotting at home for the past 2 weeks, doing nothing constructive. i felt useless. okay, i guess i shall turn in soon, tomorrow's schedule will obviously be... watching the F1 race. who will be making history in singapore? we'll find out.

p/s ; i support lewis hamilton. do me proud.

vrooom, vrooom... *to the bed*

before i start posting, would like to wish roston[my cousin] a super happy 17th birthday!

yesterday.
went to aloy's workplace, slacked and cycled! super fun! lester & fiona keep doing 'im going to Sydney tomorrow, actually... in a few hours' YEAH!

a tiring day out.
photos ;

aloy and lester's workplace, or rather slack place i shall say? so unfair, they get paid for surfing internet! i hope more people skate everyday, so they will have lesser slack time! nah just jokin'

go skate [i dont know how!]

but i know how to cycle!

today.
took 42 stops of bus service no. 851 to adidas headquaters ti collect my uniform, feels good to be there as i really like that gorgeous place. furnished with cosy couch and thematic rooms such as basketball room, soccer room etc. not everyone has the chance to be there! therefore, here are some of the pictures taken to share with you guys.

this is what you see when you come out from the lift. nice? p/s; not even entering in!

when you walk in, there's a reception and a lobby of course!

the walls deco in the lobby.

so, we were asked to wait for joyce in the basketball room

had the terms and agreement signing, and of course we received our uniforms. 3 pairs of pants and shirts! shoes coming soon~ i guess its way too generous for a 5 day shift! its more than enough time for us to wash. but sadly, the pants is loose =(. might be going back to the place tomorrow and change. see how it goes.

again, some of the pictures taken at the lobby. these are some of the lastest limited edition designs. ranging from jackets to shoes.

this is what i love most about the place! its a runway style office. notice the 3 stripes carpet on the floor? and there is 2 'runway' in the office. the layout looks something like this.

RUNWAY - LOBBY - RUNWAY

ENTRANCE

woohoo, i felt like one of the few luckiest human beings in the world. i look forward to work with them this coming monday!

and its sylvia's bbq, steamboat session tomorrow... no actually, in a few hours!!

good night readers.

11:40 PM

coffeebean. chicken & mushroom fusilli, serving was hardcore as usual. but it tasted nice! damn. finally met up with grace! super happy, chatted lots. slacked together at rooftop carpark. there was this malay girl slitting her wrist, attempted ways to jump down from the carpark. but its all drama? both of us were like 'so lame, slit your wrist and in the end of the day, you will just regret when you look at those wounds' so we just continued watching the drama and listening to x japan!

dreaming of the days if x japan were to come to singapore. arghh, though we share the same dream, hopefully it will come true someday? imagine... i were to catch yoshiki's drumsticks in the concert.

versailles new single is great. i didn't know that their are called philharmonic quintet in the states. i feel so weird without working as i used to work 5 days a week, i realize time passes so slow at home doing nothing. luckily tomorrow evening gonna catch Dangerous Bangkok! and as for now, i need some rest.

grace rocks. she really rocks.

12:13 PM

fish & chips. heard that our favorite western food stall is closing down. therefore, went there to eat yesterday afternoon with jiaying and sihui!

teh O with extra sugar.

went swimming lessons, so freaking tired. hands aching all over, but its fun! learnt new techniques to improve our stokes. after swimming, met up with weisheng, jiaying, sihui and peiyu. super long time never slack with peiyu already, she's so funny! we keep calling her 'xiaoyu' to piss her off! played the remaining candles we left from MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL and chit chat in the park until 130am. but we still didn't finish those candles, bought too much already!

anyway pictures taken;

done.
