went for sis baptismal service today . nothing much , but its the experience that matter , i didn't know how's the process of people getting baptized . at least i've witness and learn something ! woah okay , came home and sleep after the service . all the way until grace called , went down to have dinner . reached home and spent my christmas night with yahoo games . thanks xian neng for playing with me !! okay we bit farewell to CHRISTMAS !

happy birthday my sis and fiona =)
wow , the celebration started at 12am last night ! hmm slept at 3am , woke up at 830am today . went to bishan control to meet fiona , agnes , walter and grace . took a train to harbourfront mrt followed by a shuttle bus to sentosa . bought admission tickets and took the yellow line to palawan beach . walked quite a distance on the beach as we can't find the suitable spot , finally found a spot , but the water is horrible ! full of poisonous foams and its brownish in color =( . i didn't manage to take a photo of it as my hands were all wet , playing water ! but anyway , you wouldn't wanna see it . well , it started raining after we've pack up ! how lucky we are ? wash up , took the beach tram to the main road and transfer to the shuttle bus that will take us back to harbourfront mrt .
looks like we've spent more time in vivocity and harbourfront centre compared to sentosa . today is tiring ~ took lots of photos . enjoy !

head committee meeting was held at xinyi's house today .
met up with nicholas on the bus around 215pm , reached and meet up with the rest at xinyi's block . went up to her house , started drawing posters for sec 1 orientation . hmm , was doing the same thing until we got our break . played audition awhile , i suck at it now , too long never play ! called mcdelievery , ate and left her house around 6.15pm . nicholas , daryl and agnes left with me as well , but they are going to the arcade as i need to rush home for sis birthday dinner with my family . reached home around 7pm , slacked around at home and left for dinner . just a simple dinner at the coffeeshop ; simple but nice ! i forgot to bring my camera along =( . tomorrow i'm going to sentosa for fiona's birthday bash ~ gonna have fun !
i think thats about it , short post for today ! shall continue tomorrow =) .

woke up by my sis at 2pm . she invited me to go town with her to do some christmas shopping , so i agreed and went with her . started from ISETAN to tangs to takashimaya to cineleisure to heeren to centre point and OG . so bloody tired ! spent 2 of our meals there , check out some pictures i took . anyway , simple life 4 debut was kickass ! loves it ~ well sad to say , got a last minute head committee meeting tomorrow . aww this sucks ! i realli hate it ! okay thats it for today . shall post soon !

i feel so sad right now .
after festival of winds , i made some new friends . apart from that , when i get to know them even better , i just feel so awkward . after reading their band blogs , friendster profiles or even their individual msn nick makes me feel even more depressed . all their nick was band related , such as 'tuba section rocks' that kinda thing . thinking back , i was once like that too , hardcore band freak , but things have changed now . i don't know what causes the big change either , just click back to my achieve and read it yourself . i use to blog everything about band at the past , like what we do during the every band practice ; what songs we played , what bar we covered or stop at . compared to now , i definitely loss so much interest in this cca . if you guys have noticed , i usually blog very little regarding band nowadays . i will summarize everything to "band was boring , band was sucky , band was nice , band was great" . just don't understand why i could not be my old self to blog about every happenings in band anymore .
i bet this happens not onli to me , i can feel that bloggers in whitley concert band also feel that too . why our band can never be united compared to the 2004's batch ? i remember during lunch breaks , most of us will stay with their own section . its forever bonding each day whereas its getting more and more boring each day for now . playing in our band now its like a chore , its so different from last time . in the past , just warming up together as a band makes me feel that we are a big family and we produce ONE SOUND . now , i got no words to describe as there are too many conflicts going on . cliques will always hang out among themselves and enemies will always remain enemies . i realli don't understand why our band has come to this stage .
i just feel so down now , what other bands can have we always cannot have . to others , band life is about making friends which is true . but seems like in our band , we are making enemies easier than making friends . i don't think anything can resolve this problems , i know alumni is trying their best to help , but not everything got a solutions to it . during head com meeting today , what jinghan said to me was right . 'there is no point making so much things as even if they join , they will not stay . so what for wasting so much time on this .' well , i totally agreed with him as in our current band , there is already so many problems with communicating and socializing with one another , how do you expect people to feel the united and urge to let them stay on as a band member ?
after so many things happened , i never want to let people know that i'm a band member . i don't even consider our band a band now .
alright i cannot continue on anymore .
i need a break .

officially back from Festival Of Winds 2006 aka KL trip . i realli miss my com so much =( . alright i shall update on what i've been doing these four days !
# DAY 1 [11 dec monday] :
met fiona at her bus stop at 6.25am , took cab from there to braddell mcd for breakfast . reported to school at 7am , checked some stuffs and boarded the bus that will take us to woodlands checkpoint . well , everyone was uncomfortable as we have to carry our own stuffs such as music stands , files , blazer and even instruments(winds) with us along the journey . awww , it realli sucks like hell . at woodlands checkpoint , alighted the bus and got our passport checked and boarded another bus that will take us to our hotel . traveled for one an a half hour on bus until we stop over at yong peng for lunch . well there's nothing much there , just a food court and a simple supermarket . had chicken rice and coke for lunch , kinda regretted having it . yes , coke don't taste as nice as singapore =( . we can just say that singaporeans are lucky ! hmmm went to the supermarket and bought smarties ! limited edition ~ loves it . continued the rest of the 3 hour trip . spent that 3 hours laughing , talking , sleeping , spotting cows(cows are realli cute) and listening to jrock songs . the road trip was realli long ! the bus was forever going northwards , hardly turns . notice that there are hardly any birds at malaysia .
reached Grand Blue Wave Hotel - Shah Alam , my roomates are nicholas and mustafa . all others got their keys to their rooms . onli my room keys were delayed , were asked to wait at the lobby until further notices . but still , we managed to get keys . room number was 1016 , nearest to the 10th floor lobby . slacked in our room for a while , started visiting all our neighbors . schools that were there was bowen military band , bedok north symphonic band , siglap concert band , tampines military band , yishun symphonic band , tshing nian klang youth band , smk seri kembangan wind band , smk kepong baru school band , smjk yu hua school band , chong hwa independent high school wind band , pei hwa high school wind band , sultan abu bakar wind band . fun begins ~
reported at the lobby for opening ceremony dinner . it was held at the grand ballroom in the hotel , my table mates for that night was jinghan and alex . the rest of the people at the table were from other bands . everyone was randomly divided . didn't talk much to them , onli talk to ourselves . hmm dinner was buffet , food wasn't as nice as expected . dinner ended at 9.30pm , went back to our room to bathe . after that was invited to jinghan and alex room to play blackjack and dai dee , had so much fun . everyday after bath , this was like a routine ! sleep at 12plus .
# DAY 2 [12 dec tuesday] :
rise and shine at 7am , don't realli feel like waking up as the bed was too comfortable ! had breakfast at the hotel , it was buffet as usual . the nasi lemak was quite nice =) . we depart from the hotel to putrajaya auditorium for adjudication rehearsal . after rehearsal , headed back to hotel and had lunch before our masterclass . our masterclass was with smk seri kembangan band and mr vanich from thailand . learn quite alot of things =) had a big combine with smk seri kembangan for seventh night of july . traveled to a seafood restaurant for dinner , the food were nice there ! after dinner went to a nearby mall to shop . was so bored until mr mickey opened a snooker table for us to play . there were no pool table there sadly , i prefer 8-ball pool to snooker . well we still had fun though ! gathered somewhere near the entrance of the mall and went back to our hotel .
we need to report to guixiang's room for a combine of abba gold and colours of the wind at 1015pm for the band exchange the next day . we ran through it and it was so fucking loud ! got complained i guessed ? well , back to our rooms to bathe and crossed over to each other room for cards and taking photos again ! so much fun ~ loves it . end of the day .
# DAY 3 [13 dec wednesday] :
rise and shine was even earlier as we need to go for the actual adjudication after breakfast . woke up and change into full uniform and reported at the lobby . proceed to the ballroom for breakfast after that , i ate a lot just for this meal . had lots of sausages , bacon , egg and fruits . woohoo nice ~ back to our rooms to get our stands , files ,blazer and instruments and report again for headcount and depart from hotel to putrajaya auditorium . performed in front of the judges and we kinda screwed our seventh night of july due to off tempo . no one was looking at the conductor and we went on our own speed , too nervous . my solo for loch lomond went out of tune too =( . seems like sukit was realli disappointed with our performance that day . lunched at the same seafood restaurant again ! food was nice again , but fruits sucks !
after lunch , a 2 hours bus ride to some local school at malaysia , it was raining . feel welcomed when we reach the school , they were friendly . siglap band was there for the exchange pro gramme as well . after performing our individual songs , we had sectionals with both siglap and the malaysian band . i think the band name was TP i forgot wads the full name as they are not taking part in festival of winds , just a school exchange . hmm we had sectionals with double reeds as well , played the song loch lomond . we all can play it the 1st time we tried , so after that they organize games for us to play . we sat in a circle and started playing concentration , awww im the second person to get forfeit =( . thanks to agnes who bombed me . so i sang our school song , haha hope i sang well . was nervous and shy =X . from then on we exchanged contacts with siglap members =) . back to hotel , wash up , and changed for the closing ceremony dinner . sad sad sad , time past so fast and its the last night already .
dinner started , met 4 new friends from bowen =) they are nice and funny people , realli ! united band as well , love it ! took photos and exchange contacts also . we got certificate of participation for the adjudication . soon the closing ceremony ended and went back to our room to relax . played soccer for a short while at 10th floor lobby , some siglap people joined . stopped playing as we have to report to agnes room for debrief at 1130pm , debrief was indeed sad , mickey shocked all of us with his further plans in the future . he wanted to take a break from teaching people music and try something new after that . his speech made people cried , it was grace birthday as well . we celebrated at her room and celebrated mickey's farewell . were playing cards at guixiang room with jinghan , alex , mustafa , justin , jeremy , nicholas and guixiang til late . slept at 4am .
# DAY 4 [14 dec thursday] :
everyone in my room cannot wake up . so we skipped our breakfast , we are supposed to wake report at 7.30am but we all woke up around 8.05am . i bet miss juanna might have broken her hands knocking on our door =( . well anyway , packed everything and met the rest at 830am . departed from grand blue wave hotel - shah alam and another 2 hour road trip to melaka(malacca) for our final shopping . ate snacks like crazy on the bus ! reached there and headed to an arcade , played daytona with justin , jeremy , shawn and nicholas . had KFC for lunch , there is no upsize to our meals at malaysia . where got such thing =( . the pepsi there is far too fizzy ! hate it ~ it taste like plain water with lots of gas . after shopping went back to our bus , 3 -4 hours trip from melaka to yong peng again . chatted with nicholas on the bus journey , its always nice to chat with people when everyone was sleeping and the bus was going onli northwards , the atmosphere was definitely nice !
reached yong peng , went to the supermarket and bought mineral water , damn thirsty ! boarded the bus after a 20 mins rest . continued the bus journey for another one and a half hour . in this one hour , started to reflect and missing people we known and met for this trip . its quite sad , realli ! first time feeling so sad =( . i will definitely miss bowen mates , siglap mates , TP mates , and of course MR MICKEY ! reached singapore immigration area waited for everyone to pass through the checkpoint before heading back to whitley .
FAST FORWARD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
reached whitley , unload our stuffs in the band room and fall in . present some gifts to mr mickey which includes a card and band tee both with all our signatures on it . can see that he is touched . hmm was dismissed from then , went home via 3 bus rides . singapore is realli much nicer compared to there , i realli love singapore =) unload my language at home , chatted online for awhile and went for dinner at botak jones . it still taste as nice ! drank coke as well , woohoo feels like heaven ! reached home after botak jones and sleep for 15 hours . woke up at 530pm today(friday) . now still feeling shagged , mouth full of ulcers , lips swollen . anyway the experience was a unforgettable one !
some things learnt from this trip :
1) breathe more for better intonation !
2) cherish the things around you ~ they realli will not last forever !
3) do not drink canned drinks from other countries . you are advised to onli drink plain/mineral water .

okay , KL trip is realli near . i hope nothing will screw up on that day as each head committee carries a lot of responsibility and stuffs . its so fucking stress =( . okay , i need to enjoy chatting on msn as i'm gonna be out of the country soon . i will miss my blog , my friendster and my msn ! don't worry , i'll update when im back as i will be bringing a notebook to take down all the happenings ! so check back next week .
